Through these experiences, God birthed in him a passion for reaching youth with the all-consuming love of Christ. As an urban missionary, Seth desires to leverage his past experiences as a teacher and camp counselor to maximize his impact as he seeks to be a father to the fatherless, give hope to the hopeless, and spread a passion for the supremacy of God in our community. He lives on the North Side with his wife, Jessica, his daughters, Aria and Lydia, and their foster daughter.

Andrew Churchill

Andrew first came to Urban Impact as a Summer Day Camp intern in 2003. After graduating from college, he returned to Pittsburgh to work vocationally in the field of architecture, and volunteer his time with UIF. A 2009 layoff opened the door for him to join the staff of Urban Impact on a full-time basis. With a passion to see youth set free from sin and generational strongholds, he is grateful for the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the Good News of Jesus Christ. Andrew and his wife Jasmine are honored to call the North Side their home.

Rocky came on staff at UIF as the Basketball Programs Leader in the fall of 2017 after serving as a summer intern in our Summer Day Camp for 4 summers. Prior to this, Rocky attended Geneva College, where he played basketball for two years. The Lord put a calling on Rocky’s heart to serve in ministry full-time when he first accepted Jesus into his heart in 2011. He is passionate about making disciples through relational ministry and using basketball as a tool to do so. He currently lives on the North Side with his wife, Shaina and his son Asher.

Amelia Shuppy

Amelia Shuppy started at Urban Impact Foundation in August of 2016 and serves as a Family Care Urban Missionary within the Athletics Department. She is excited for all that God has in store for the city of Pittsburgh and its people. In her spare time, she loves exploring Pittsburgh and its rich history, grabbing coffee with friends, and hosting dinners with her roommates.

Seth Reichart has been with Urban Impact since 2007 and currently serves as the Director of Athletics. He has a heart to preach the Gospel and a passion for winning people to Christ, “to seek and to save that which has been lost” (Luke 19:10). Kortney Orwig
Options Coordinator, Athletics
I am excited to join the Urban Impact team as the Options Coordinator to Athletics upon raising my support. In the mean time, I will be working as an intern for Urban Impact’s Summer Day Camp, becoming acquainted with, and immersed in, the community of the North Side of Pittsburgh. I just recently graduated from Waynesburg University in May 2019 with a degree in Biblical and Ministry Studies, and minors in psychology and English. I have a deep passion for students to personally know the Lord, and to know their intrinsic value as His beloved children and called servants. I am committed to be an advocate for students as they discover their God given gifts, and as they discern God’s calling on their lives. I mission to do this by walking along side students in the logistics of their post-secondary planning, so that they may launch successfully into life beyond high school, and thus break generational bonds of poverty. Outside of work I enjoy being in nature, running, hiking, exploring new places, traveling, painting, and sharing life with friends and family!

Zach McClelland
Theatre & Video Urban Missionary
After working for two years at Urban Impact, God called Zack to be more involved with the ministry as an Urban Missionary. Zack is involved with various aspects of the Performing Arts department––mentoring students in the Urban Impact Choir, Performing Arts Academy, and Urban Impact Shakes. He has also been able to use his passion for video editing to assist the Performing Arts department with marketing and program videos. Ed Glover
Founder & President
Rev. Dr. Ed Glover and his wife Tammy have passionately followed their calling to minister to the least, the last, and the lost in Pittsburgh’s urban North Side community for almost 30 years. Together they founded Urban Impact in 1995, after serving for almost a decade in youth ministry at Allegheny Center Alliance Church.
Rev. Glover is a leader, a visionary, an evangelist, and a motivational speaker. In 2011, Pastor Ed received the prestigious Restoring Places Award at the Epoch Missions Gala in Atlanta, GA. In 2014, Urban Impact was also awarded the inaugural “True Inspiration Award” for the northeast region, from the Chick-fil-A Foundation for demonstrating “groundbreaking practices and visionary leadership” with innovative education.
Pastor Ed also founded Global Impact USA six years prior to Urban Impact’s inception. Global Impact was an annual, one-day missions event that gave students the charge to respond to the call of God in their lives and put it into practice. For the next 24 years, he incited over 55,000 kids from 19 cities to participate in the Global Impact mission. As a result, this produced over 1,000 pastors and missionaries to serve around the world.
Today, Rev. Glover is a highly respected and sought-after speaker. He is regularly scheduled to speak at churches both locally and nationally. He currently serves as Associate Preacher and Director of Urban Missions at Christ Church at Grove Farm in Sewickley, PA.
Ed graduated from Lambuth University in Tennessee, and received his Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. In 2001, Ed received an honorary doctorate from Toccoa Falls College for his work in the urban setting. In 2003, both Ed and Tammy were recipients of the Alumni of the Year Award for both the Alliance Theological Seminary and Nyack College.
